Democratic despotism: The left moves from censored to compelled speech – Jonathan Turley – The Hill

In Illinois, Democrats have taken up the cudgel of compelled speech on the issue of abortion. Again, over objection that the law was unconstitutional, Democrats and Gov. JB Pritzker passed a law that said that all healthcare providers, including pro-life and religious pregnancy help centers, must extoll to their patients the “benefits” of abortion, even if they have faith-based objections to abortion.

Since Benghazi, Libya is widely considered a failed state.

Illinois can now be considered a failed state too.

There needs to be some kind of intervention.

Pray.

This is the way of the left. It always moves toward limiting speech. That is, historically, the course of socialism.

So, the Marxist cabal that forces providers to talk up abortion is also going to be determining the mental health of children? Saints preserve us!

There goes the lefty Democrats telling us what to think and do. If a citizen is not far left, they have no rights or freedoms.

“My list of complaints about Trump is huge and growing”

Whatever they are, they are rounding errors compared to Biden’s atrocities and failures. Some in the conservative world are going crazy because Trump bad-mouthed Rob Reiner posthumously, ignoring that Rob had posted 20,000 tweets about Trump over a 10-year period. Rob Reiner called Trump the most-dangerous person in the world, yet, it was his own offspring that brought about his demise.

Illinois’s checks and balances are working. It’s just that the people who elect all three branches of government like it just the way it is, as disastrous as it is.

Among the federal checks and balances is the electoral college, something Il lacks, hence single party rule dominated by the Chicago metro area to the detriment of the rest of the state.

That’s pretty much what tyranny of the majority means.
