Republicans complained that the bill, introduced about one hour before committee debate, gave Republicans, judges and the general public virtually no notice about legislation that would create new subcircuits in Sangamon, Madison and DuPage counties and make changes to how some circuit court judges are elected in the Chicago area and other downstate communities.
I didn’t realize they change the DuPage subcircuits too. Still too Republican there!

The Madigan game plan still at work. Introduce a bill an hour before so no one has a chance to review it, and all the lackeys fall in place and vote for it sight unseen.

This is the hyper partisan definition of court packing and gerrymandering all in one. Waiting for the DOJ civil rights to intervene… oh wait they only do that in Texas and Georgia.

Have we dispensed with the obsolete notion that these POLS are public servants?
A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
