Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. The state’s existing buyout program for its own pensions is the precedent for Chicago, which should be a warning: Look out for similar exaggerated claims and shoddy analysis.

This article explains why the answer isn’t just flee to Florida, which for now is a bastion of freedom. Progressives must be stopped. You can’t just run away. They will not allow a bastion of freedom from their woke utopia.
Yes, but the idiots that vote for those like Pritzker, Biden, Lightfoot, Durbin, Duckworth, Shakowsky, etc have to wake up and see the ruin that the country will come to. They won’t because the main thing is to be part of the elite and to have power. The people are who pay their salary. They work for the people. The people do not work for them.

I actually belief at the moment our democracy is not even hanging by a thread Mark after the election fraud, and the failure of our country to even investigate it. President Trump has ripped the mask of those posing as America First but who were indeed America Last.
