Governor Priztker and probably Newsome as well are gunning for Biden to withdraw from the election just as soon as the primaries are all wrapped up. It will be an interesting DNC in Chicago this August 🍿

Biden and the junta behind him stole this election fair and square and they’re going to turn over the keys to the kingdom just because Biden has dementia. Biden could stroke out on stage and collapse in front of the entire country, and 4 hours later, and they’d keep him on life support just long enough to steal 2024. Biden could disappear into an ICU unit on life support from September to November and he’d still get 81,000,000 votes because he has a D next to his name.

I was a college student working for NBC News as film runner during the convention. (there was not video then and raw film had to be transported from the convention to the NBC newsroom for processing by motorcycle). Well, if it were the old days under Daily, those protesters would be in a world of hurt. The system was not having any part of the protest.

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
