Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. I guess if you like the Census Bureau results, it’s reliable information, and if you don’t, it’s not.
Someone tell this buffoon the census is based on actual people and doesn’t include the fictitious ones that somehow vote.
Democrats hate facts. Facts are meanie poos and don’t care about feelings and …….are MAGA racists!!!!
The reality is that the Swamp’s Census Bureau likely OVER COUNTED Illinois population to defraud a red state of a congressional seat.
Raja is among the dimmest Dem bulbs, along with noted Serial Imbecile Casten.
Dim Dem policies drive taxpaying residents to havens like Florida, even Iowa, and their solution is to double down on these same insane policies and beg for the Census Bureau to join NOAA as a producer of fake data.
Serial imbecile is perfect, particularly when applied to Casten!
Puglsey is a math denier
If you count all the illegals which are moving in because of sanctuary status population is growing by leaps and bounds. Maybe Pritzker wants to count all the out of state cars driving thru on the interstate and label them “Temporary” residents.

There are many people who move out and they sell their homes to maybe a smaller family so they do not just abandon the properties. The last year or so many illegals are being shipped here from other states and many also come in under the radar. So it is possible that our population increased slightly but on the other hand families are having fewer… Read more »
IL is losing population. It will become readily apparent during the recession when the currently vacant housing stock finally comes out of the shadows as airb&b empires go bust, rental home land barons lose it all, and the new apartment complexes sprouting up in the city and suburbs slash rents to attract tenants of any kind. People used to live in those homes and there are few newcomers to fill all of our housing. The people leaving are being only partially replaced by illegal immigrants. If they were having children and growing families then the schools would be filled up… Read more »
Face the facts, Illinois is chasing out honest hardworking families at an increasing rate every year. The Pension time bomb is exploding, and taxes are going way up. They will tax away the equity in your home. Illinois is going to lose more representatives in the house and have less political clout than in the past.
