“The governor needs to realize that he is the governor of Illinois,” House Republican Leader Jim Durkin said. “He is the governor for Democrats, he is the governor for Republicans. He has forgotten that, so I would just tell you this: That the way the governor has handled this whole issue of business development in Illinois has been very sad.”
A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
