Don’t feel sorry for Trump in not taking a public salary. He filched big-time as President vastly exceeding that salary issue. Surely you recall the excessive fees charged for any person or company doing business at his Washington, D. C., hotel. Then, there was a LOT of government money spent for any business or government-paid security details alone done at his golf courses and for housing his Secret Service agents elsewhere in his other properties. When the President’s businesses were favored for governmental meetings and even charging higher-than-usual-rates for all public employees required to be there that had the distinctive odor of purposely extending President Trump’s profit motive.
