Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. Is anyone rallying for a ceasefire among gang members and overall murders in Chicago? Not one word from any group. Another 7 dead this weekend and dozens of shootings including at a Halloween party. How many were shot and killed around the country in all the major cities? Many of the shootings and murders are black on black crime but not a peep from Rev Sharpton.
Nobody talks about them or knows about them because the legacy media doesn’t report it.
The victims are nameless and faceless. We know they were human beings, but their deaths mean nothing … usually just another boring black-on-black death.
They were sons, brothers, uncles, fathers and grandfathers. We aren’t even told if the deceased were male or female … they are that unimportant to society.
Apparently black lives don’t matter.

There was a ceasefire in effect on October 6th from Hamas prior aggression. They just violated it to start a new aggression and when Isreal fights back the left want a another “ceasefire.”
Here’s a thought. Let’s ship all these Loop demonstrators to Gaza where they can enjoy the fruit of living under Hamas up close andbpersonal 24/7.

Palestinian protesters here in Illinois would never consider returning to Gaza. Why would they ever give-up the social-welfare benefits that they enjoy here? Their unreported cash business incomes?
But yes, send every Palestinian protester who has overstayed their visa, who violated their student visa, or entered illegally via open border-crossing or plane trip. They don’t assimilate, don’t respect traditional American civic values. They openly express hatred for other Americans, celebrate murder of Jewish people, willfully committing a Hate Crime too.
Streeterville and everybody else, please do remember, however, to judge each individual individually and not by their group. There are peaceful Palestinians who do not have the characteristics you describe. I have known some, and at the Skokie pro-Palastine protest I went to see recently, the loudest yelling at the protesters came from a man who said he was a native Palestinian, swearing up and down about how Palestinians had brought their problems on themselves by embracing terror. Post was directed to at protesters who have no legal immigration status here, meaning they’re here illegally, which is supposed to be prosecutable violations of immigration law and subject to deportation. If an immigrant can’t wholeheartedly embrace the multi-cultural multi-ethnic “melting pot” that composes US, coexist peacefully with all other American residents, then perhaps they would be happier back in their mono-culture country-of-origin.
