Dems hitting Vance with debunked vulgar claim ‘undermine’ their anti-Trump credibility, strategist says – FOX News

Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker, long believed to be a potential candidate to join Kamala Harris on the ticket, joked on ABC News that while Donald Trump "talks about all kinds of crazy stuff," JD Vance is "getting known for his obsession with couches."

Unfortunately the major news outlets are protecting Harris and are not reporting any news that wouldn’t look good for her. Won’t report her past socialist statements because she’s changed her mind. Has she really? Major networks are a joke now. She won’t do interviews or take questions. Not that the left media would ask her anything of substance. She’s hiding like Joe. She thinks it’s OK for biological men to be in women’s sports and locker rooms, as does her VP pick, so she’s not for women’s rights. Her VP pick took away parental rights in MI. Will be an… Read more »

It’s just gross and crude, really. These are campaign rallies that children attend. What’s irritating about JB is that he’s always a day late and a dollar short of the latest talking points. JB using the newest talking point means that the talking point has already jumped the shark, so to speak.

JB’s sword is pretty dull – but that’s what happens in a supermajority state. Walk out of that state, and you can’t compete straight up even with the legacy media gaslighting. That’s why Democrats have come to rely on ballot harvesting.

Same w/Kamala. A product of a one-party Democrat controlled state lacking meaningful primaries and general elections. Most elections are foregone conclusions where voters are given little choice, and the party big-wigs behind the scenes are the real power brokers. Kamala did little to get votes but managed to impress party leaders to get slated for the ballot for her various elected positions. JB is the same way. He didn’t really have much of any opposition other than the now mayor of Evanston and a guy with the last name Kennedy, a bunch of no names in the Democrat Party. He… Read more »

There’s a lot more than that about JB that is irritating! Talk about gross and crude! An odious, obese oligarch!

These people are pathetic and not serious people. They are playing a game with this country’s future. This morning, I turned on the TV and watched (on purpose) Good Morning America on ABC. I occasionally try and see what the large broadcasting channels are saying. This morning the lead story was Trump and Musk on twitter. For 15 minutes, the “reporter” did nothing but trash both Trump and Musk, criticize X’s technology (because of the 30 minute delay) and Musks “claim” that the site was being flooded with traffic purposefully to shut it down. She actually said that “Musk produced… Read more »

It’s never going to stop. You’re better off just ignoring legacy media almost entirely and focusing on conservative instead. Conservative media is not good for local news and they ignore the sort of ‘opps’ research aka hit piece ‘news’ that legacy media does, which is OK, but it is important to know what your enemy says about you. Like the cat lady comments he made. It was mentioned in passing in conservative media – because everyone knows it is true – but apparently it was a huge deal in the legacy media, with every network covering it endlessly for days.… Read more »

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. Audio here.
