“Religious Studies Professor Lisa Poirier said the land acknowledgment is an “important first step” for (white) settlers to come to terms with the people and land they’ve occupied for over 200 years.”

I was born here, I am as much a native as the native americans now. I am not a settler. This is truly hilarious stuff here.

Lisa herself is not from Chicago, she is the ‘settler’. We call freaks like her carpetbaggers.
