On the other hand, corps and the elite have not really fought it out with corrupt incompetent Chicago-IL politicians, and their public union accomplices. Probably because of the scale/embed of that sleaze/incompetence, and the ease of simply “making a campaign contribution” (and maybe a steak dinner at Gibsons) to get a big issue fixed fast.
Absolute power corrupts absolutely. This woman threw her entire career away. She was blinded by the power. Just trying to stay out of prison now.
