It’s rare to see city leaders in Chicago take an open, unabashed stance on the collapse of literacy. To complain is deemed as too political, too racist or too anti-public schools. So it’s refreshing to see Willie Wilson, a successful businessman and leader of the black community, call for a literacy initiative “with the goal of getting 100% of Black students reading at grade level.”

Keep’em coming Governor Abbott! Make sure to have thousands ready to come up for the Democrat National Convention next summer. By then the weather will be ideal, and the illegal immigrants can enjoy sleeping under the stars and participating in convention activities. The whole world will be watching as we used to say.
There’s another theory floating around, that when the free stuff the migrants expect fails to materialize, they’ll be the rioters rioting at the convention in 2024, similar to the immigrant riots France experienced earlier this year. It remains to be see if they can organize enough. I know they’re all tied into the same social media feeds that brought them here in the first place.
