Tommy McEnery of Mount Greenwood was surprised when he received a notice in the mail about a speeding violation. But what really piqued his interest was the date on the $100 ticket: 2014. The notice said he had to pay it by June 30 or it would increase in cost to $244.
A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
Hmm…..if this happened in LA the violater would have mail the fine to Mexico city!
