Digital IDs will be available in Illinois starting Wednesday, Secretary of State Alexi Giannoulias announces – CBS2 (Chicago)

Giannoulias said digital IDs will be protected by the same privacy and encryption technology used for tap-to-pay and digital airline boarding passes.

Now voters won’t have to go to “Kinkos” to get copies of their ID’s (according to Harris) to be able to vote.

What a joke. Illinois can’t even police unemployment fraud. I’m confident this will lead to even more identity theft and crime.

In addition to not keeping a handle on spending, sexual abuse in the CPS, missing children in the care of DCFS and well, just about anything. IL institutes programs, puts them on autopilot and keeps collecting the additional revenue they hemorrhage year after year.
