"Illinois is actually doing well," Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, said in an interview Friday. "The upper northeast and the Midwest, represented by Chicago and Illinois, are doing better in general than the rest of the country."

NBC should be ashamed to report this as news. I read the article and listened to the video.
What is the metric to make a claim that Illinois is good or as good as most in the country (whatever those statements mean). A bar chart and a percent is shown. Many words said. Over 30,000 lives were lost in Illinois under JB’s leadership due to covid.
