DuPage Clerk asks IL Supreme Court to toss DuPage judge’s order to follow law when verifying mail-in ballots – Cook County Record

“The Clerk’s brief proclaims that our suit to have the Clerk follow the election laws was without precedent,” state Rep. Deanne Mazzochi said. “That isn’t true, and our responsive brief gives multiple examples of how Illinois courts have intervened to ensure election law compliance. What is unprecedented is a Clerk who ignores what the Legislature wrote into law, and what our Circuit Court said the law is, to insist that she alone knows best."

This crime is pretty egregious. On VBM ballots the Dupage Clerk is using the VBM application signature for comparison in lieu of the voter registration signature. This is flat out illegal. More important, if you were to cast fraudulent ballots this is exactly what you would want to happen. You fill out a VBM application for your dead mother. You sign the application yourself and then later when you sign the VBM envelope, viola, the two signatures match. It is a direct line to election fraud. Dupage Clerk is saying: I’m am violating the law but the court can’t call… Read more »

So Pritzker got 54% or the counted votes, counted by his own corrupt people. What % counted were from Illegal Alien votes or other Illegal Ballots?

Just asking for a friend.

What is she Hiding from the public? Her response ignites more suspicion of possible voter fraud she is enabling and participating in.

Not hiding anything. Her strategy is pretty straight forward. Most VBM ballots are returned in favor of Democrats. Statistically, the more ballots that she can count the more likely those votes favor Democrats. Republicans on the other hand will do their best to disallow as many VBM ballots as possible because of these statistics. Ultimately these types of things are handled by a judge for close elections as both sides say their way to count is correct. Whether it’s hanging chads in 2000 or matching signatures in 2022. Why do you think both parties have massive teams of lawyers on… Read more »

LOL, you’re half correct. This isn’t a question of hanging chads…. Yes, the VBM ballots favor Democrats, but anyone with two functioning brain cells knows that she’s refusing to properly match signatures on the late arriving ballots because they’re obviously fraudulent, and being forced to match the signatures would expose the fraud. Absent any evidence to the contrary, this is the most obvious explanation. Show me the evidence that this is all much ado about nothing, and I’ll change my mind. Show me the evidence that less than a handful of signatures don’t match, and there’s a barely any late… Read more »

You assume the worst on everything so that’s on brand for you. Unlike you I wait for actual evidence. So far you don’t have any that backs your conclusion. Also on brand for you.

So I’m supposed to provide the evidence to justify why it’s OK for the DuPage County Clerk to knowingly violate ballot counting laws? If it really wasn’t a big deal, wouldn’t she just follow the law?

People interpret laws differently all the time. Trump believed the law allowed Mike Pence to intervene in the outcome of an election. I don’t agree with him but he is welcome to his legal argument. It’s why courts exists.

She knows she’s counting the ballots incorrectly. She’s admitted she is violating the law. Her claim, from the article, is that no one has the right to oversee or question her tabulation. The judge rightfully responded that she’s in violation of the law and the way she is counting ballots is an obvious method for voter fraud. And the logical explanation WHY she is counting ballots in a manner that would be the most obvious method for ballot fraud is………. BALLOT FRAUD. You think Kwame, or Biden’s DOJ, is going to prosecute her for knowingly and intentionally trying to include… Read more »

“Her claim, from the article, is that no one has the right to oversee or question her tabulation.” That’s her legal argument and she is entitled to it. The courts so far have said otherwise. The system is working. Also, we are talking about matching signatures. Quite possibly the dumbest system used to determine legitimate ballots. I voted in person (early) in DuPage county. They had me sign on a tablet and then two election judges looked at my signature to verify it was correct before approving and handing me my ballot. Here’s the thing, there is no way my… Read more »

You have multiple signatures? LOL you probably have aliases too, and people with alias are always up to no good.

Did you even read my comment or are you that dumb? I said my signature on a tablet couldn’t possibly match my signature on file. Seriously? How dumb are you? No wonder you are wrong on so many of your predictions.

I agree, a completely stupid way to verify. So my registration made when I was 18 a few decades ago is able to be matched with a scribble on a tablet by some random election judges who I doubt are handwriting experts. Need to limit vote by mail to very select circumstances. In person voting and ID shown,

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. Audio here.
