Naperville Neighbors United (NNU) celebrates and promotes the activities of non-whites and non-Christians in Naperville, also hosting campaign events attended by Naperville Democrat politicians. Isn’t that a little “discriminatory”? I thought Naperville was big on “inclusion”. In 2024, Naperville taxpayers granted NNU more than $33,000— $8,280 to host the anti-racist film festival, $12,243 to fund its annual Juneteenth celebration and $12,500 to host a “Youth World Cafe” at Neuqua Valley H.S., where students are offered “service hours” if they read a book and listen to a lecture on “a racist social media account.” Well Naperville, welcome to “Balkanization”. Little Debbie is doing Naperville by simply following the work of Kwame Raoul’s life: using confiscated taxpayer funds for partisan political activities.

Illegal? Perhaps. Unethical? Absolutely. Illinois Democrat Privilege in action.

Government should stay out of this business. Public tax dollars shouldn’t be spent on this crap. Stick with the basics of serving the public. If the public wants to contribute, let them. Sudden public money contribution that is more than this organization had amassed in 4 years…come on – what’s going on here. As an aside, I am all in for veteran benefits, but wow, a benefit that allows this dude to have $0 property taxes in Naperville ($25K savings)…that is pretty amazing.

Look for more shows at the county fair, festivals, etc. featuring a drag queen preaching acceptance of the drag lifestyle to small children dressed in a dominatrix costume and looking like Divine as happened in Lake Co. recently.

How is NNU part of the Democrat Party? I don’t see anything on the website showing that or preventing Republicans from participating.

Explain why a Republican would join this group.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
