Durbin is right. Healthcare is now a big issue and GOP better wake up. That doesn’t mean the tactic of shutting down the government was right, but our healthcare system is utterly broken.

DOJ needs to investigate how much money health insurance companies donate to politicians, either directly or through PACs. Also need to investigate how much stock politicians have. Politicians are making money from insurance companies. Until this is exposed and made illegal, health insurance premiums will never go down. Health insurance companies greed is the problem. They need to put controls on profits insurance companies can make, just like there are controls on utility companies. But this will not happen because politicians will block it.
How about the same for Apple, Google, Meta, etc.
