Editorial: Brandon Johnson says the quiet part out loud about the CTU – Chicago Tribune/Yahoo

“I believe Rahm Emanuel referred to the Chicago Teachers Union as a socialist conspiracy,” Johnson said Wednesday. “Did I get the words? But little did he know there was no conspiracy. We were just doing it.”

Is it really quiet? Isn’t that what most Chicagoans openly want? Other people’s money? Last time I checked, definitely Chicago and most of Illinois is run by good socialists openly proclaiming their ideology. Durbin, Duckworth, Pritzger, Johnson. All good communist overseers. The proof is in the powerless spineless supine population that submits to every new depredation with a little grumbling but not so much as an effective bowel movement. Communists deserve every filthy communist policy they allow themselves to be abused by.

Yep. Continuing evidence of the CTU rallying alongside their employee Brandon. I’ve predicted before he will be re-elected. The CTU will fully support him for re-election, and will set its ideological stormtroopers on that goal. With 99.5% of CTU members voting for Brandon, plus Brandon wildly waving “racism” around in public, he will be re-elected. Good luck, Chicago!

This why the Leftist Democrats work so hard to kill off any kind of school choice for parents – public schools are being used for forced indoctrination camps. Parents need to try any means possible to get their children the hell away from the teachers unions and Democrats to have a real chance of them being something other than a dependent pleb on the Democrat plantation.

Just an idiot. But I think it’s just the starting point to investigate the CTU by any means possible

Randi Weingarten, Stacy Davis Gates, Brandon Johnson. The room rose to applaud at the suggestion that schools have been “doing” socialism for years.

But, but, we don’t know why schools are failing! Keep looking for that magic wand. Nobody should expect schools to teach kids to read. They are busy doing socialism. Who can say what’s causing the problems?

It’s obvious. If for nothing else, from how loud they are while failing at their mission.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
