The reason why it will go is quite simple. Based upon Chicago crime statistics I assume that the shot spotter identifies situations skewed towards blacks. So, as anyone can easily see, the race card will pop up and blah blah blah…we can’t have anything racist can we?

Oh I get it. You simps thought this technology was about keeping you safe, rather than a money grab. Of well, stupidity has its price. Now you know that you don’t matter at all. Who are the bears playing this week? That’s something your brains can focus on.

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
