"Citadel, in fact, is the poster child for how government policies truly can chase away a city’s most important corporate citizens. Politicians like Johnson — he’s not the only one, by the way — would do well to stop daring business leaders to follow Griffin’s lead."
South Florida thanks Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson for providing the Miami Metro Area with one great, civic donor!

Maybe they don’t understand, but more importantly, they don’t care.

Hardly a day goes by without some article about Griffin’s move to FL and its effect, or about how and why Griffin left Chicago and how he has divested himself of all his Chicago holdings, often at a loss. That shows how the Chicago economy is sinking-even Griffin can’t make a profit.

The comments on the Trib site include parodically hostile rants about evil billionaires just donating hundreds of millions as a tax dodge. Some people truly refuse to see the truth, when even the Tribune is pretending it appreciates what business — what productive human activity — does to support a society. When the unproductive, envious lefties don’t treat the “golden goose” of employers well, they are doomed to decline.

Johnson only understands what his handlers tell him. If they say jump, he says “ how high “? He is beyond doubt the most manipulated( by his friends the CTU),unintelligent and race baiting perpetual victim of a mayor in America.

This is becoming a trend nationwide amongst the media, “journalism”. They stand silent while the Democrats policy’s reap havoc on society, then when, what was clear for anyone with eyes to see, their (democrats) actions prove destructive, they come back, waaayyy after the damage is done, and try to distance themselves and rewrite their advocacy and complacency. The New York TImes has started this with their Biden’s Immigration policy. You can’t hate the MSM enough.

Miami sure knows how valuable Ken Griffin is. A true economic boom to the economy. Chicago is dying a slow miserable death.
