Editorial: Our national shame: COVID-19 in nursing homes – Chicago Sun-Times

In Illinois, 75% of nursing homes that are at least 25% black or Latino have had at least one coronavirus case, according to the Times analysis, while only 24% of nursing homes that are less than 5% black or Latino have had a case.

The shame is the policies that put infected people into the homes. Pure evil.

And of course, it’s the Feds that have to shoulder this? Not the states that caused this?

“Nursing homes that care for significant numbers of African Americans and Latinos have been hardest hit, though for reasons that are unclear.” vs. the headline of the editorial: “Our national shame: COVID-19 in nursing homes” Shame? I feel no shame because you can’t even identify why elderly minorities have been the hardest. But the implication is clearly RACISM. But this is just another lie by a liberal left wing rag looking to push a narrative to its readers, and make them feel better.
