Editorial: School funding progress needs to continue in Illinois – Quad City Times

"The state has increased its evidence-based formula by $350 million each year since 2018, except for 2020, due to COVID. To reach its goal of fully funding schools in 2027, the state needs to increase the amount it puts into its school funding formula. The Illinois State Board of Education is requesting $550 million more into evidence-based funding."
