“I’m not going to be part of the narrative of a Lady Macbeth to a Black man who doesn’t have a brain,” (Gates) said, in the first of two mentions of the notorious Shakespearean sleepwalker and murderer in as many minutes. “The insinuation that I play the role of the Lady Macbeth actually is both racist and sexist in the way that it is almost always leveled,” she continued. “Please stop doing that. Please let me be the president of the Chicago Teachers Union.”

“ Please let me send my kids to better schools as I label you as racist for wanting to do so. Please don’t make me pay thousands of dollars in past due water bills. Please don’t penalize me for tying to pull one over on the tax man re my Indiana residence .” Out damned spot, out!

She is a straight up hustler. She brands any pushback or criticism as racist or sexist, which dilutes real claims. She is not a victim in any way. The children of Chicago suffer from the greed, politicization, mismanagement and callousness of the city, county, and the school leaders who, coincidentally, just happen to be “people of color”. 29,000 per child and they cannot keep the schools clean, safe, or even teach the children to read, write and do basic mathematics.
