Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. Time for the Feds to investigate their finances.
CTU hasn’t been a labor union for years, and could care less about educating students. CTU is a far left, progressive activist group, and should be designated as such. Maybe if CTU cared about educating students as much as politics and power, student test scores would be better. Showing support for a cop killer shows their true colors. CTU is pro violence, and they should not be allowed near children.

The CTU is the role model of a taxpayer funded, inept failure intent on indoctrinating children instead of educating them. Yeah, I know the members pay for it with their wages, wages that they get from taxpayers as partners of a scheme that would do Soros proud.
