Editorial: When teens with guns go on a carjacking spree – Chicago Sun-Times*

"But given that cars are being taken at gunpoint — and sometimes with fatal consequences — Brown’s new tack also includes a tough side, as it must. The police have beefed-up their Vehicular Hijacking Task Force, the superintendent said, and will work with prosecutors and courts “to make sure there are serious and significant consequences for the offender.”

Because of systemic racism the term “carjacking” will be banned. It will now be called “Redistribution of Automotive Resources”.

Cops can work with prosecutors and judges all they want. But if prosecutors and judges don’t do their job, why bother? Foxx doesn’t have to worry she has a driver and probably an armed driver, as does Lightfoot and Preckwinkle and god know how many alderman. Heck, Burke only had a half dozen cops driving him around.

The only way this will stop is if every carjacker gets shot and killed by a concealed carry person. All of them, all killed, no matter their age. Then it will end.
