While 35-year-old Carlishia Hood stood at the order counter, 32-year-old Jeremy Brown arrived at the restaurant, and the two began arguing. During the altercation, Hood texted her son outside and pointed at Brown. After the first punch, Hood’s son drew her firearm from his hoodie and shot Brown in the back.
Wonder whether Mayor Johnson will also blame “corporate disinvestment” for this mother’s poor parenting skills and inappropriate directions to her son.
What no one can say: neglectful parenting, irresponsible absentee parents, and role-model parents and relatives who are repeat-lawbreakers themselves, are significant contributing problem in youth and young adult crime-stats. Children learn what they see.

That woman is pure evil. Told her son to kill not only the man she argued with but to shoot the woman in line who laughed at their argument. And to top it off, she and her son just casually walk back to the car as if nothing happened. Want to put a dent in crime — life without parole would be a good start for people like this mother and son.

Brandon will label this a case of disinvestment! Crimesha was the victim of underfunded something or other, and sonny was just fooling around. Give them some counseling and set them free.

Failed parenting — the biggest driver of Chicago crime
A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
