Electric vehicles catch fire at Rivian’s Normal plant – WAND (Decatur)

An unspecified number of vehicles were damaged by the incident, but the EV assembly plant was not affected by the fire. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

In the meantime Canada just slapped a 100% tariff on Chinese EV’s that cost about $12K there.
