My son’s school cancelled their daddy/daughter dance because one progressive mom said it wasn’t inclusive enough. So now it’s everyone! I heard the inclusive dance was a complete disaster.

While I appreciate the daddy/daughter dance, our society doesn’t live in that world anymore because there are so many single moms with absent fathers and multiple children from different fathers.

Line them up by boys, girls and whatever else. After recess just don’t let the whatever else yoyo crew back in the building. That’s tip number 7 for those keeping score.

Chicago needs more champions of literacy like Willie Wilson – Wirepoints

It’s rare to see city leaders in Chicago take an open, unabashed stance on the collapse of literacy. To complain is deemed as too political, too racist or too anti-public schools. So it’s refreshing to see Willie Wilson, a successful businessman and leader of the black community, call for a literacy initiative “with the goal of getting 100% of Black students reading at grade level.”
