Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. This is disgusting. The budget should be doubled or tripled instead of cut, and the caregivers should get the same wages as the CTU frauds get.

This is absolutely despicable. Vulnerable US citizens in need pay the price for Pritzker’s gross negligence and malfeasance with his fixation on caring for illegal immigrants. They cut funding for those that can’t speak for themselves. Will this story get coverage on CBS, NBC, WLS or WGN? Don’t hold your breath.
Maybe they could set their sights on one of the migrant camps. While I admit it is a hard thing to say at the same time it is better than nothing.
