Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. Yes, I taught at a private Catholic school and my kids went to a Christian school for a couple of years. They require vaccines just like public schools.

I’m just not going to comply and I’m sure hundreds of thousands of others will refuse to comply too. The police will have to physically remove my child from class and I’ll be filming it, and uploading it to twitter, for the world to see. A couple of videos of parents being arrested and children being handcuffed and lead out of class will be enough to turn the tide against the shot.
