Eric Zorn: The Phoenix rises: Loyola’s student newspaper takes a courageous stand for journalism – Chicago Tribune

Phoenix reporters had been covering near daily peaceful student protests on and around the university’s Far North Side campus in support of the Black Lives Matter movement. On Aug. 29, when six students were among those arrested for blocking traffic on North Sheridan Road, the paper posted images from the scene, as they’d done from previous protests.

Loyola University has only accomplished one thing for supporting the domestic terrorist Marxist blm organization,, that is a decrease and soon to be total stoping of alumni donations. Loyola has also been accepting unqualified minorities in the medical and law school since the 1970s to the detriment of infinitely more qualified white students. I stopped donating years ago and have encouraged my friends to do likewise. Let Loyola collect from the unqualified minorities they accept not me.
