Love it… Evanston has benefitted from having a Big 10 university in its backyard for decades… Until the nonsensical treatment of PF, the football program was bringing interest and additional revenue to the area and the school… But, God forbid the university president be less loved than the coach… PF had to go by whatever means necessary… And all of the economic benefit that would come from a nicer, more modern stadium? “who recoil at the idea of fun and a decent university experience…” Most college admissions departments *hate* straight men (especially white men who are leading the decline in college attendance). This is reflected in college demographics where most colleges, including Northwestern, have far more women than men. But at the same time, colleges recognize that to attract quality candidates, they must provide a ‘decent’ university experience, which for most girls means giving them chance to find a boyfriend.
