Expressway Shootings Are Spiking In Illinois, But Cameras That Record Video Still Aren’t Up – CBS2 (Chicago)

Back in February, the Illinois Department of Transportation announced a $12.5 million investment of taxpayer dollars for cameras and license plate readers that will go up in 47 different locations – specifically meant to help investigate expressway shootings. The Illinois State Police say the program is still in the planning phase.
