Here is a likely contributing factor to the cancelled ILGA fall session. In the state’s defense, most teachers are already woke and communist so it’s not much of a reach to encourage them to promote what they are already promoting.

Sure the students don’t know math or basic history but as long as they know the fake history of perverts and blacks that’s really what is important.

Governor Pritzker is in the Executive branch of state government.

He has nothing to do with whether or not the Illinois General Assembly (State House and State Senate) is in session.

The Illinois General Assembly (ILGA) is in the Legislative branch of state government.

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
