Trial coverage in Trib exposes exactly how stupid this Daley relative is. Richie Daley was more conniving, better at masking his personal financial malfeasance, benefited from loyal allies and aides, but equally intellectually-challenged.
He was convicted because he couldn’t pull off the mibby defense convincingly. The bumbler goes away.
He got screwed because he was a thief like the rest of the Daley family but was dumber than most of them and got caught.
One convicted, two under indictment, ahhhhhh the Chicago way.
