Well, at least they didn’t try to hide it.
Pictures abound posted by Cook County Democrats themselves of their Annual Cocktail Reception last Thursday. Most of them apparently care little about even the appearance of respecting Democratic Gov. JB Pritzker’s statewide indoor mask mandate.
A few of those pictures are below. Some have masks, and some might be excused for taking them down while being photographed. But you can see in the background that the majority wore no masks. One candidate has some 30 other pictures proudly shown on his Facebook page.
For them, why worry about charges of hypocrisy? What are you gonna do about it? With Pritzker having signed off on newly rigged election maps, in violation of his campaign promise, it’s not like they need to worry about getting voted out.

As Obama’s birthday party demonstrated, our cultural and political elite are officially exempt from Covid infection-risk, magically immune by virtue of their PC merit, so they’re not required to wear masks that they otherwise so strenuously promote on media.
My wife and I have not complied with the mask mandate since it was reinstated. We have not had a single incident where someone told us to mask up. Restaurants, stores, etc are all sick of the burden it seems. Burn your masks.
easy for you to say. in some places, we risk being filmed and harassed. I don’t want my face posted over the internet punching some goof in the face as he tries to shame me for not wearing a mask. I have a family of hungry mouths to feed and a viral video would destroy my livelihood.
It’s abhorrent that the Cook County Democrats that think they run the entire state believe that they can mandate masks for everyone else but themselves. I’m not complying with the mask mandate and I encourage others to not comply as well. Why sheepishly comply with a mandate issued from hypocrites that don’t follow it themselves? I understand if people are unable to defy the mask mandate at work or school, but they can still defy it while patronizing stores, restaurants, and other businesses. It has been several years now that they have flaunted a complete lack of concern for disapproval of their actions from the general public. They believe they have absolute control, and defy us to try to do anything about it.
