A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
Chicago’s socialist mayor is experiencing the result of over promising free stuff to voters (and unions) and the reality of where’s the money going to come from. The new mayors of New York and Seattle will start to experience the same realities after promising so much free stuff with no sources of money to pay with. It’s a painful lesson for voters and taxpayers, but fun to watch for those of us who don’t live there.
