Union president John Catanzara said the officers in the video did not do anything wrong. “(The video), it’s hard to watch. But they didn’t do anything wrong. They have an obligation to protect their safety and the people that are with you when they enter a room like that or an apartment. And they have to sweep the whole thing. It was nothing malicious about the police action in that video.”
A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
