For JB Pritzker, A Governor On War Footing, ‘There’s No End Of The Day’ – WBEZ (Chicago)

"This moment is not what Pritzker bargained for when he invested more than $171 million of his own wealth to defeat an unpopular Republican incumbent in 2018. He was singularly focused on passing a sweeping, progressive agenda through Springfield, which he did without appearing to break much of a sweat."

What a garbage fluff piece profusely thanking JB for his selfless sacrifice to the people of the state of Illinois. The reporter asked no hard questions and gave JB ample opportunity to throw more blue meat to his base by Trump trashing. All because the ‘journalist’ agrees with JB’s sweeping progressive agenda passed (killing babies on demand, legalized drugs, raising taxes on everyone). “House Republicans have scheduled a press conference Monday to complain about the unemployment claims problem.” Complaining? The unemployment line is hundreds of thousands of people long, and it’s been a complete disaster for anyone trying to get… Read more »

Totally agree Debtsor !! This journo piece and others like it are exactly the reason IL is capsizing . Dave Mckinney should be ashamed of himself for cheerleading anyone in IL government right now . Don’t you love had to throw in that JB is working 12 hour days …..says who JB ??? Furthermore, This fluff interview feels like Dave is fearful for losing his job and looking for JB to offer some position in the IL government. Would not surprise me one bit

I didn’t about that but you’re right, he probably is angling for a job with the state gov. I’m not sure what JB is doing 12 hours a day other than ‘working the phones’ and taking the occasional phone call from Trump. I bet he’s taking EXTRA long lunch breaks.

Ha Ya – I mean the guy shattered his femur….just standing up for gods sakes. Probably answering a email past his elongated dinner feed is working past hours LOL . Lets all hail JB for answering his email past 5 pm right Dave Mckinney ?? Make sure you put “Boot Licker ” under special talents on your resume for JB

Jabba the Pritzger is positioning himself for a run at the White House in 2024. Lots of national news exposure via the main stream media, lots of press coverage getting his name out there. A jolly socialist candidate to the extreme left like Bernie but with that jolly ho ho ho type of personality. I’m betting on it.

While I have no direct proof I am totally confident about that.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. Audio here.
