In their appeal, Madigan's lawyers argue that prosecutors improperly stretched federal bribery and fraud statutes "past their breaking points" in order to secure Madigan's convictions.
Rot in jail Madigan. Your controlled actions and one sided laws have irreparably damaged this State.

His lawyers were plotting this before he was convicted. That the greatest grifter in IL history would go quietly into the night was laughable.

His conviction should put into question every single law this crook pushed through the Illinois government. Clearly this grifters motivation was always on the take and when you look at the bills and laws he marshalled through…they make no sense for the state of Illinois, only his supporters. Seems like this is an opportunity, if we had an attorney general, to look into the validity of any of the laws this crook got passed.

I’m still shocked a Chicago/Illinois jury convicted this serial corrupt Dem grifter.
I would give him this choice regarding his appeal;
Drop the appeal and we will allow you to come back to Illinois but be under house arrest and on Mon-Fri. between the hours of 10-3pm you will wear an orange jumpsuit and pick up garbage on LSD, year round, or
Keep the appeal and if you lose we will add 5 years to your sentence.
Your choice Mikey!!

Madigan is just upset he’s missing tax season because some other crooked Dem lawyer is gonna get the graft and not him.
Do the crime, do the time.
A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
