A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
Gosh, not even paying the visa bill…sheesh, do you suppose Beetlejuice was even so stupid that she forgot to grift enough money to retire and be paid more in retirement than she made working?
My most vivid memory of the woman is how harshly she spoke about the rank-and-file CPD during the 2020 riots, despite everything they were going through at the time. It was the most despicable thing I had ever seen out of a public official given the destruction going on in the city.
Who will pay their bills if leaders don’t? Many won’t pay … as the word gets out. If public services are to continue, the rest of us will pay because everyone has a “right” and the non-payers are presumed to be poor or otherwise beleaguered. This lines up perfectly with the Mamdani theory of metro government. Alas, the capitalist class is complicit with the “back-to-the-office” movement and some of us will have to live with socialists.
