So let them stay home, RSVP respond with no regrets, save us taxpayers the cost of their inauguration luncheon meal. Trump administration won’t miss them. That said, clearly they’re not behaving as responsible adults elected to higher office to meaningfully represent their constituents.

The thing about Sean Casten is there is no difference if he attends or doesn’t. He makes zero impact on anything. He will try to replace Durbin when that waste of space ultimately goes out, which I assume will be flat on his back. One worthless do nothing replacing another. It’s the Democrat way.

Casten is a scumbag who should have been bounced from office long ago if the voters had any sense. Sadly they do not.

From a Democrat’s perspective, Donald Trump’s reelection is akin to the end of the world. From a Democrat perspective, the Trump admin is going to be filled with the worst people in the world, just the absolute worst. Of course, we like them, but to Democrat – justifiably, people like Matt Gaetza, Kash Patel, Tulsi, RFK, and his advisors like Bannon, Posobeic, and the others in that world – many of them from the “dissident right” that JD Vance occupies, these people are further to the right than they could have ever imagined. I’ve tried to imagine what the left… Read more »

Demand honcho Van Jones said this on a podcast, he Is actually one of the few that gets it: “Former Obama adviser Van Jones said during a recent interview that President-elect Donald Trump was smarter than himself and all of his critics… “Guys, can we cut it out? Donald Trump is not an idiot. Let me just be very clear. Donald Trump is smarter than me, you, and all of his critics. You know how I know? Because he has the White House, the Senate, the House, the Supreme Court, the popular vote,” Jones said… Jones was asked by former… Read more »

You are on line too much guy. Being in the minority is great. Trump is the best thing that ever happened to the Democrats. There’s no way they would have won the House, Senate, and presidency if Donald hadn’t been around. There acquiescence to the donors at the expense of working people has played itself out. You saw Harris was even running away for all her past statements on immigration, trans, military. There is a disconnect from what the public wants and what the donors want.Right now Trump has resonated more with the common man than the Ivory tower egg heads… Read more »

I am online too much lol as most people are but as I say, I have a lot of ‘hurry up and wait’ time for my job. Trump is in a great spot. On some level, yes, Democrats have it good with Trump because they have some breathing room to give the public what they want. But on the otherhand, the #Resistance was strong last time and significant portions of the Democrat party will go back to plotting and scheming to destroy the country just as they did during 2016-2020. For goodness sakes, they stole the 2020 election, just outright… Read more »

If you ask these people who on the left is too far left they won’t be able to name one person.

While those same democrats lionize Kim Foxx, Brandon Johnson, JB Pritzker, Toni Preckwinkle, Kwame Raoul, and the rest of these do-nothing progressive-liberal woke elected officials who serve no meaningful purpose than consistently raising taxes, increasing deficits, and loudly enabling crime and illegal migration.

Audio: Wirepoints’ Mark Glennon says Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades – Chicago’s Morning Answer

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. Audio here.
