It’s still higher than it should/could be. Don’t forget the Illinois tax from July 2022 is going into effect in January, and then another tax increase in July 2023. Automatically increases, just like the politicians’ salary increases.

Something isn’t smelling right. Gas in nearby Wisconsin was always 30 to 90 cents a gallon cheaper than in the stations in illinois. Just returned from Beloit/Janesville area and the gas there is more expensive than in the border stations on the Illinois side. Something is fishy, elections coming and I wouldn’t trust the democrats as far as I could throw Pritzger. Behind the scenes hanky panky?

$3.48 at 3 stations at Willowbrook & Rockton Rd, South Beloit. The Clark in Beloit right across the line at $3.58.

Election time is approaching. Many democrats fear what might happen due to the incompetence of the biden administration and what a joke pritzger is so on to a solution. Get those gas prices down. By November gas will be free, the democrat sheep will forget and the votes will pour in.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
