Gas prices moving down since recorded highs in June – CBS2 (Chicago)

AAA said the national average for regular gas is $4.53 a gallon. In Chicago, the average is $5.65 a gallon. And in the suburbs, the average price is $5.34 a gallon.

Lowest price in Beloit is $3.79 near Beloit Memorial Hospital.

Paid $4.149 right over the border at the Kwik Trip in Brodhead, WI.

Drive back into IL and the price is over $5.
