Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. The legality of IL districts need to be challenged in the Supreme Court. All IL need to be represented, not just Democrats.
Will never happen for now. Former ambassabor Chas Freeman, Dr Ron Unz as well as Dr Paul Craig Roberts all believe this country is in a prerevolutionary war state. Violence against the PTB will occur due to lack of will of those powers to correct the course. History records the amazing Battle of Athens back in August 1946 which forever altered the course of TN history!
All of the so-called-laws this criminal got passed should be withdrawn and each situation revert back to their original state. Clearly he was compromised when he had all of this power to determine what was debated on the floor, what came to a vote, who got money to run, etc. He determined what was best for himself and those that paid him. His legacy will be the continued bleeding of the Illinois resident in taxes.
This article says it all. We want change we have to change our way of voting. Too often the pols backed by the Madigans of the world just drained our wallets and filled theirs. Wake up Illinois. Don’t let the old guard and unions tell you how to vote. Think what’s better for us then them
Agree. The problem is made worse because 30% or less of people vote but 95% of CTU votes (or their illegals that may or may not be citizens, but who cares, right?) Stupid is as stupid does until people get off their couches to send a message to politicians.
