Coincidentally the county clerk is married to a democrat state representative?? When those improper ballots are counted the DEMOCRATS WILL SAY”Sorry wrong name on the ballot so they are invalid !!! IT’S “THE CHICAGO WAY.”

Does it surprise anyone that Dems would sabotage Republican ballots?

Does it surprise anyone that Republicans would sabotage Democrat ballots? People are going to have psychological similarities no matter their political persuasion. I often find statements here similar to yours where the writer seems to have no clue as to that basic truth. The tactics often are—or at least can be—quite similar, yet the writer seems oblivious.

Any examples of recent Republican election/ballot sabotage that you can site? This example is right in front of you and it seems you want to simply dismiss it as “that’s the way it goes.”

You first! I may be wrong here, but my recollection is that every instance of significant voter sabotage djt has ever mentioned has been overturned as unverifiable in court. He’s full of unmerited bravado on that topic but far short of evidence to buttress the allegations. Now, start your list. I can’t wait to read it, but give clear court winnings to verify your points of view. Otherwise, you’re no more trustworthy that da Trumpster.

Yes, essentially that’s the way it goes at times. As regards Trump’s complaints about the election results for the 2020 election the recounting showed no “substantial” voting irregularities and certainly not enough to affect the outcome there as it was officially reported later. There you have it: it’s likely there will often be “voting irregularities,” sometimes by one party and other times by the other party/parties. Some people are inclined to mischief given the chance and a permissive set of circumstances no matter the party affiliation. The best one can hope for is enough managerial “policing” of the voting procedures… Read more »

Just donated to Dabrowski for Governor. And I don’t even live in Illinois anymore!
Told the relatives I have left in Illinois to go to tedforillinois website so I hope they vote for Ted.

Severino is on the Boone county ballot. I also had a difficult time getting my ballot in the machine? Your fighting these issues while we are voting. Sounds like fair and safe elections to me.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
