Illinois Senate Deputy Minority Leader Sue Rezin said SB 25 is being pushed by Gov. JB Pritzker’s administration and was written by special interests. Rezin said the bill lifts price caps on rates and consumers will pay the price.

Shows the Democrats care not a bit about the havoc and damage to IL consumers from their CEJA. Rather they want to double down and provide more grift. Higher energy costs are just fine with Democrats.
This is a horrendous bill that would force more taxpayer subsidies for “energy storage” — batteries the back up the unreliable solar and wind that Illinois invested in. It would double down on Illinois’s green energy folly, at taxpayer expense.
The latest article from Visual Capitalist shows us the ( mostly blue ) states with the highest energy costs all engage in “ energy sustainability “ or some such green nonsense.
