Gov. JB Pritzker: “My Theory” Is Trump Wants National Guard In Cities To “Seize Ballot Boxes” And “Steal The Election” – RealClear Politics

Pritzker said, in part, "Here we are in 2025. He is becoming more unpopular. He is likely to lose the 2026 elections and he's sending troops into American cities and particularly in blue states, in blue cities, to put them on the ground, get us used to the idea of having military on the ground. I believe because he then will say, well, I'm going to go protect our polling places in Illinois. And then if he is losing the elections, meaning the Congress, he will frankly just seize the ballot boxes."

Democrats and the left stole the 2020 election, without question. The key to remember is that it was decided by less than 40,000 votes spread among four states — a tiny fraction of 1% of the votes there. Had the Hunter Biden laptop not been hidden and the Russia collusion hoax not been spread, that would have been more than enough to tip the election to Trump.

I’m sorry to see that you’re an election denier. We are in an era of close presidential elections. Clinton lost in 2026 by 78k votes in 3 states, Trump in 2020 lost by 43k votes in 3 states, and Kamala lost in 2024 by 229k votes in 3 states. I don’t believe for one moment the Russian collusion hoax story, which was 3 years old by the 2020 election, had any meaningful effect on the election. As to the hunter laptop, the FBI had the contents of the hard drive months before the election. The republicans tried an October surprise,… Read more »

I will focus just on your last point because that’s part of my point, and it was a historic scandal. The laptop was passed off as a Russian plant, thanks to so many lies to that effect, including the letter from those 51 former intelligence officials. That story predominated. Try searching about the laptop in, say, the Tribune or Sun-Times. You find stories about it being a Russian plant but nothing about how it’s valid or about the multiple scandals it showed. That full story still hasn’t been fully aired. The Biden family was a huge influence peddling operation, and… Read more »

How did Fox News, Washington Examiner, News Max, and the Wall Street Journal handle the story? To me this would be enough coverage to get the story out there. If other news outlets didn’t report on it, so be it. Maybe if the hard drive information was out in the public for months, instead of weeks, maybe the story would have gotten more play.

No, that’s not nearly enough to “get the story out there”! Don’t underestimate how little news many people see. They may read the Tribune, watch CNN occasionally, look at the local news on TV and they think they are well-informed. They don’t have a clue.

I know many news and social media outlets were careful with news coming from republicans as the 2020 election grew near. They were afraid of an October surprise that couldn’t be substantiated in time before the election. If the laptop story had months of conservative press scrutiny rather than a couple of weeks, then there would have been a bigger chance of the story going mainstream. I can’t blame CNN, the Trib, and other news outlets like them, for not treating this story as the way you wanted it treated for causing Trump to lose the election.

Yes, we are in an era of close elections. An era where burying the truth about Hunter’s laptop could make a difference. Or extreme focus on something as ridiculous as the Russia hoax.

Oh wait, you don’t believe for one moment that made any difference? Your feelings are pretty strong evidence, guess everyone else should defer to your judgment.

The other nit I have to pick with your comment is the overly dramatic, but not quite true statement, “The key to remember is that it was decided by less than 40,000 votes spread among four states— a tiny fraction of 1% of the votes there.” The true statistic is 43k votes spread over 3 states (Arizona, Georgia, and Wisconsin). Arizona and Georgia should have voted for Trump, and even if they did, he loses the election. The 3 most important states in 2024, 2020, and 2016 were Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin. Trump won these states by 78k votes in 2016… Read more »

Monkey see (2000) monkey do. Not easy to have pristine elections. LBJ and JFK bought votes in key elections. There probably isn’t enough money or integrity in political institutions to move from pragmatic toward pristine.

Well mysteriously post-midnight boxes of Milwaukee County ballots got both Wisc Senator Baldwin reelected in 2024, and Biden elected in 2020. No protests from Democrats, obviously. Harris was such a horrible candidate that Wisconsin Democratic Party was unable to harvest sufficient absentee ballots to make the midnight-hour ballot trick work. Here in Illinois, dead people, non citizens, and “vote early, vote often” repeat voters get Democrats elected, year after year, election after election. Doesn’t help that Republican Party is near dormant, and fringe parties non-event. Pritzker thinks he can buy himself the presidency, given that he’s already bought himself two… Read more »

Nothing strange about Wisconsin election results. In the last 10 senate elections democrats have won 7 of them. In the last 10 presidential elections democrats have won 8 of them. Biden won Wisconsin in 2020 with about the same margin (20K) that Trump won in 2016 (23k). As to Harris, she got more raw votes than Biden did in 2020 by about 38k.

Somebody should tell Porkulus that Trump is not running in the 2026 elections. His “theory” is based on a TDS delusion. The man needs a full psychiatric evaluation. He is hallucinating

True, Trump isn’t on the ballot. But Congressional candidates are running against Trump, saying that if elected they will effectively oppose him. Even state and local candidates seem to be running against Trump, because in most of Illinois they know folks dislike him. The ICE raids support this.

My theory is that Gov. Pritzker’s million dollar plus gambling winning on his income tax release that he claimed came from poker winnings is a part of the NBA/Mafia fixing scandal. He looks like he might have been an athlete in his younger days, probably had the two hand stuff perfected!

Think you’re right. Pritzker family has long-established ties with mafia. Read Gus Russo’s excellent book on Pritzker family and mob: “Supermob”, as relevant today as when it first was published.

NG will be at polling places. Serfs will vote straight ticket for Republicans because there will be no Democrats on the ballot. You will present your ballot to a Guardsman for inspection and if you failed to vote for a candidate you will be sent back. All the candidates will be Oligarchs or multi millionaire friends of oligarchs or titans of industry. JK, maybe.

JB the Dems got outsmarted in 2024. You thought you would get away with all of your ballot thievery. Trump figured that out and had people at the polls watching and preventing it. No late night ballot dumps either. Hopefully the Republicans are just as vigilant in the future. Still gonna happen in the solid blue states but not so much in the swing states.

The more loony tunes this guy sounds, the more visibility he gets from the media. They must sit around in a conference room someplace drinking and coming up with more and more ridiculous scenarios to get the un hinged base of Democrats riled up. All of what he says makes no sense.

You are absolutely right. The crazier he sounds, the more airtime he gets. JB Pritzker is a full-blown BlueAnon, a belief system based on outlandish conspiracy theories, which is the left-wing counter-part to so called right-wing Q-Anon. He’s straight up embarrassing himself now, spends too much time online. He even mentioned Pinochet in his Fox News interview (got his first name wrong though). Ironically enough, in the past, anons here have jokingly commented about Pinochet while suffering immensely during Biden’s presidency, fantasizing about how tough on leftists would get if Trump won a 2nd time. Maybe JB Pritzker hate reads… Read more »

Pritzker is just angry that Trump is deporting JBs newly imported illegal voters. If Trump continues to deport Illegals, IL may loose congressional seats as well. Trump’s actions may impede voter fraud in IL.

Again, GOOGLE AI had between 520,000 and 560,000 new “immigrants” in Illinois between 2000 and 2004. How come Illinois didn’t gain half a million new citizens. It’s because people “left” for other states causing the great “U-HAUL” price discrepancy between leavers and incoming illegals. You see, the illegals only had what they could carry. They didn’t use U-HAUL which was forced to use flatbeds to makeup for the one way traffic. If Pritzker’s new voters don’t pay taxes and only absorb benefits, Illinois will have to gouge the taxpayers even more.

Our governor is now officially unhinged. The same guy who claimed emergency powers for far more months than necessary after the Covid fiasco is projecting his desires onto others. Only a far left loonie would believe these rants of his.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
