Gov. JB Pritzker, never shy about criticizing Republicans, calls for ‘common ground’ at national conference – Chicago Tribune*

"And, as we make accomplishments, I think it actually brings people together,” Pritzker told an audience at the progressive Center for American Progress annual ideas conference. “If you can make it easier for people to raise their family to save for retirement, to send their kids to college, to buy a house, if we can make it just a little bit easier for people, I think that brings the temperature down and it’s also why you get elected to public office — to step in and get those things done.”

Pritzker’s idea of common ground is that everyone needs to agree with him! If they don’t it’s right back to name calling and outrageous claims.

Someone get a tissue for Rick and Jeremy after the lip service in this puff piece. As per usual, the Trib acts as cheerleader for the continued destruction of Illinois by its politicians. Illinois’ Governmental fail-ups describe their detriments as accomplishments and the Chicago Media dutifully amplifies and affirms their spin. Remember, these Trib dolts scolded President Trump and amplified the Democrat fail-ups’ insistence that Illinois was a welcoming sanctuary city up to (and even beyond) the point where Chicago couldn’t house and feed all the takers that the fail-ups welcomed in.
